Vegan Filipino Spaghetti
Slightly Sweet, very onion forward and super cheesy. It's a Filipino classic dish.

- 1 White Onion Diced
- ¼ Cup Olive Oil
- 8 oz Beyond Meat Patties
- ½ Cup Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons Date Syrup
- ½ Cup Noodle Water
- 8 oz Spaghetti
- Salt and Pepper To taste
- ½ Cup Vegan Cheddar Cheese
- 4 Links Vegan Hotdogs Sliced
Browning a onions in olive oil in a large pot. Add the "meat" patties and cook them down until they are nice and brown and a little crisp. To get the sauce going add the ketchup of date syrup. Get that up to a slight boil.
In a separate pot I cooked the noodles according to packet directions. Then added half a cup of the water from the cooked noodles to the sauce to loosen it up. Add some salt and pepper to taste and the sauce is done.
Cook the hotdogs in a separate pan with just a light sear. To serve spoon the sauce over a bed of noodles and top with the hot dogs and cheddar cheese.
