This Filipino Melon Drink known in the Philippines as Melon sa Malamig is one of the OG infused waters. It's simply cantaloupe with lots of ice water. Perfect for a super hot day.
Cut the cantaloupe in half and scoop out the seeds. Place in a strainer over a bowl and press out the juices.
Using a melon scraper, scrape all the melon flesh out of the rind making sure to save all the juice.
If you can't source a melon scraper, and have a food processor you can use that instead.
Put everything in a large pitcher (except for ice) and let sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Taste and add date syrup as necessary. Serve with lots of ice.
