This refreshing Matcha Yuzu Shisho Summer Spritzer is filled with wonderful and unique Japanese flavors.

  • 1 Teaspoon Aiya Matcha
  • 2/3 Cup Warm Water
  • 3 Pieces Shisho Leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon Yuzu Juice
  • Ice
  • 1 Bottle Sparkling Water
  1. Prepare the matcha following these instructions and then pour into your tumbler.

  2. Add in the shisho leaves and with a muddler crush the leaves until bruised and fragrant.  Top with the Yuzu Juice.

  3. Fill the glass with ice and then top with sparkling water. 

  4. Repeat for as many drinks you want to make.

Recipe Notes

You can replace the yuzu with lime or lemon juice and replace the shisho with mint leaves if you do not have access to a Japanese grocery store.
