I also have a blog that focuses on California Forward Filipino-ish dishes. My recipes are born from having to maintain a healthy lifestyle due to doctors orders (high blood pressure and cholesterol). The ingredients that I use are usually from Wholefoods and my local farmers markets.
Through food writing I am able to share how I grew up as a global citizen still being able to grasp with my identity of being a Filipina. You will see influences of Japan, Australia and Singapore in my food.
