This Halo Halo Sundae combines the best of Filipino and American desserts. Bananas, Ice Cream, Nata de Coco and lots of shaved ice topped with a cherry of course!
First peel your banana and slice thin on an angle.
Spoon in about 2-3 tablespoons of Nata de coco in the middle of your bow.. This will also help the bananas slip from the sides in the next layer.
Place the bananas on the sides of the bowl. Then add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the Nata de coco.
This is the part when it becomes a Halo Halo Sundae! Pat in the shaved ice over the ice cream while also covering the bananas. Basically fill the bowl and lightly pack in the ice creating a small dome. Drizzle the shaved ice with banana milk
Top with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Squirt some whipped cream around the base of the chocolate ice cream and on the top. Finally finish your Halo Halo Sundae with a cherry on top for a pop of color.
Eat right away.
Notes
You don't need to use a bowl. You can use a tall 16oz glass instead. If you are going to use a glass, cut the bananas into cubes instead and layer on top of the data de coco.
