    Grape Shake (with frozen grapes!)

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This Grape Shake is super refreshing and simple to make. All you need are frozen grapes, water and some honey. Blend and you have a super healthy shake.

    Grape Shake in a glass

I first came upon this shake in Manila. Every menu seemed to have it and I have never heard of it. We had order one just out of curiosity and it came looking like the above photo.

Turns out it was blended frozen grapes with some water and sweetener. Such a great idea. Super refreshing after walking around in the heat and humidity.

I have seen other grape shakes out there, but it's blended with so much other fruit. This one is really and truly just a pure Grape Shake.

    Ingredients

Grapes - You will need about 2 cups of frozen grapes. Any kind will do, just make sure they are seedless or else the seeds will give it a slightly bitter after taste.

Water - Ice cold water is perfect and a cup and ¼ cup will loosen up the frozen grapes for blending. You may need a bit more if it gets too thick.

Honey - I find that a liquid sweetener works well with these kind of blended drinks. Date syrup will work too, but will darken the Grape Shake a bit.

How To Make A Grape Shake

Making a Grape Shake is super simple. First throw in the 2 cups of frozen grapes in a blender along with 1 ¼ cup of water and 2 tablespoons of honey.

Next blend it all together for 1-2 minutes until all the grapes have broken up and the Grape Shake looks nice and smooth. If it looks too thick add a bit more water.

The shake should have a slight drinkable slushy consistency.

How To Serve A Grape Shake

To serve pour the Frozen Grape Shake into two glasses and drink right away. It's great to have pool side on a hot summer's day.
