    Choc Nut Shake

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This Choc Nut Shake is made with both Choc Nut Spread and pieces of Choc Nut Candy. All is blended with chocolate ice cream and chocolate milk. It is a total Chocolate overload!

Choc Nut shake in a glass

I had this Choc Nut Shake at a restaurant in Manila called Tsokolateria. The restaurant is always packed and busy. The food that they serve is actually very, very similar to what I share with you here. Filipino Food Reimagined in a different way, but still casual. Tsokolateria even has a Malunggay Pesto Pasta like I do!

The menu is focused on lots of chocolate recipes (as noted in its name). One of them is this Shake. It's been on my list of recipes to share.

    Ingredients

For the core Choc Nut Shake you will need Chocolate Milk, Choc Nut Spread, Choc Nut Candy and Chocolate Ice cream.

You can use any choc nut spread. If you buy them, they come in two varieties a milk chocolate version and a dark chocolate version. I used dark chocolate here as that is what I have.

If you can't find the spread, but have access to the candies then you can make your own Choc Nut Spread to use in this shake recipe.

bottle of chocolate, pint of chocolate ice cream, jar of choc nut ice cream.

How to Make Choc Nut Shake

First you are going to take some of the spread and use that to line along your glass. You can use a knife or small spatula to do this.

Then you are going to put the rest of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

    How to Personalize Your Shake

To make it thicker - Use more chocolate ice cream. For this one serving I used about 3 scoops of ice cream. A third of a pint. You can use more than that to make it nice and thick.

To make it thiner - Use more chocolate milk. I used about ¾ cup of chocolate milk, but you can add more if needed.

How to Serve the Choc Nut Shake

To serve the Shake, pour it into your prepared glass and top with whipped cream and some crushed pieces of Choc Nut Candy.

Again, you can make it your own by adding a heap of whipped cream. It's all up to you.
