These Paleo CBD Brownies will get you through the most stressful of days. Made with Filipino Chocolate and infused with San Francisco CBD Oil, what more do you need??
Paleo CBD Brownies
I never thought I would be a person that would make brownies infused with cannabis. But I have discovered the joys of pouring CBD Oil all over my life to make it just a little bit better. I am not an expert on CBD so if you need more information about the benefits of CBD please read about it here in this article from Parsley Health.
These brownies have the same base recipe as my beet brownies. I just eliminated the beet powder, added a little more almond flour and used some Filipino chocolate by way of Belgium. Oh and of course a few drops of CBD Oil.
Belgian Tableya Chocolate
I recently funded a kickstarter to help bring a Filipino/Belgian hybrid chocolate to the US. I finally got my box and thought it would be a great opportunity to use the chocolate in such a decadent way. Alternatively Oodalolly is a local chocolate maker to the US and also uses cacao from the Philippines. I would highly recommend ordering some.
CBD Oil Infusion
I didn't bake the CBD oil in the brownie, but mixed it in with the frosting. I used my trusted and very clean chocolate frosting from Simple Mills. Depending on how much you need it, you can drop more CBD oil on the slice of brownies that you are eating. A little sprinkle of salt doesn't hurt either.
I used San Francisco based woman owned CBD oil company called Juna.
I like baking mine of the more gooey side, so that it actually has the texture of fudge. Especially if you have had it in the refrigerator for some time. It's like eating a piece of candy.
I also baked these in a standard loaf tin. Mainly to control portion size, but if you wish to make these for a crowd, the recipe can be doubled.
