Today I hosted a mini Thanksgiving feast for my in-laws who are visiting from Japan.  One of the perks of my new business is having plenty of props to play around with to create this minimalist Thanksgiving tablescape.  80% of the table is from Target, the rest is from Zara Home and Daiso.

Sticking to a neutral pallet and minimalist props make it easy for me to mix and match a tablescape every time I am entertaining.

The color anchor of our Thanksgiving table was beige with pops of brown and green from the fresh eucalyptus.  I love using eucalyptus as it can double as both a center piece and an extra flourish on the plate.

I didn’t take any photos of our dinner as the light is gone now at 5.00pm.  I am happy to report that my father in-law ate half a chicken.  I don’t know why, but I’m quite proud of that fact.

This was our mini Thanksgiving Menu

Starter:  Leek and Potato Soup

Main:  Lemon Mustard Roasted Chicken

Sides:  Cauliflower Mash

Wild Rice Squash Salad

Roasted Cumin Carrots

Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Cranberry Sauce

Gravy

Dessert:  Mint Chocolate Pudding

I quite like what I came up with today and will probably use the same exact set up on the actual day.

How are you all decorating for Thanksgiving?  Do you use the same decor every year or do you change it up?  Let me know in the comments below!
