This THE Ube Milkshake. It has ube everything - ube milk, Ube Ice cream, ube cookie butter and ube polvoron topping. Total ube overload!!
I mean if you are going to do an Ube Milkshake, might as well make it a super ube one! The thing with Ube is that if you mix it with something overpowering like chocolate, you are going to loose the Ube flavor. So use everything ube in your kitchen to make this shake.
Ingredients
Ube Ice Cream - You can make your own using my Ube Ice Cream Recipe or buy a Filipino brand at your local Filipino grocery store.
Ube Milk - I haven't seen or tasted a good one yet on the market, so you can make my Ube Milk recipe to use.
Ube Cookie Butter- There is also an Ube Cookie Butter recipe that I made that you can use or I highly recommend Ninongs Ube Cookie Butter.
Ube Polvoron - The goldilocks version is the best one to buy.
Crushed Ice - This makes the Ube Milkshake super cold!
Coconut Whip - You can buy this at any local healthy food store. It's in the freezer. Or you an use coconut cream that has been refrigerated and whipped with powdered sugar.
How to make the Ultimate Ube Milkshake
First take a butter knife and dip it in to the Ube Cookie butter jar and then swipe it all over the inside of your serving glass. It makes a pretty design when the Ube Milkshake is poured in the glass.
Next add a tablespoon of coconut whip at the bottom of the glass.
We love using blenders here so you are going to add the Ube ice cream, ube milk and ice into the blender and mix until the Ube Milkshake is nice and smooth with no large bits of ice.
Pour it all into your serving glass.
How to Serve
The finishing touches to this Ube Milkshake is chef's kiss. Add a swirl of coconut whip (from a can this time) and sprinkle some crushed Ube polvoron on top.
I mean how pretty is it?
