A Green Juice That Doesn't Suck

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Honestly am not a fan of green juice.  It's one of the things I have to try because I'm one of those healthy-ish people, but gah.... it's not my cup of tea.  They either taste like celery or kale and super bitter.  So I went and experimented to give you guys a green juice that doesn't suck.  This version is refreshing and light, yet also has the addition of good protein from collagen and hemp seeds.

    Green Juice

    Green Juice

There is still a little sweetness from the apples and the coconut water, but not too much.  It's like drinking a very gingery matcha tea with lots of mint.  In a word it's tastes like it looks - very fresh.

    Green Juice

I don't use this juice as a meal replacement.  I have been drinking it every morning with my toast and fried egg sandwich, to get some greens in early in the day.

Haha I totally know what you mean about that bitter gross taste green juices can sometimes have, this sounds like a nice way to temper down the intense flavors a bit while still having maximum benefits!
