This Meyer Lemon French 75 with Elderflower Syrup is the perfect cocktail to serve during the busy holiday season. It's a little floral, a little sour, a little sweet with lots of bubbles.
Meyer Lemons
A few weeks ago our neighbors knocked on our door and gave us a huge back of meyer lemons from his daughters yard. It has such a unique flavor. It's almost floral and I thought it would be so great to pair with some elderflowers and herbs.
I love how this cocktail is very much inspired by fresh ingredients from our neighbors garden and ours.
Meyer Lemon French 75 Bar
I like to free form this cocktail and just have some individual mini champagne bottles out with St. Germaine liqueur with some homemade elderflower syrup. It's a great alternative to champagne bar for New Years Eve parties. You can have your guests add as little or as much gin and/or champagne as they want. It also saves you from doing one more thing at a party.
The set up:
- Mini Champagne Bottles
- St Germaine
- Meyer Lemons
- Elderflower Syrup
- Variety of Herbs
Place everything on a bar cart and sit back and relax.
I would love love to see the Champagne bars you designed. Tag me at @rezelkealoha and share it with me please!
