7 Must Try Halo Halo Recipes

You must try these 7 Halo Halo Recipes. They are all so unique and will give you more ideas on how to serve Halo Halo.

    7 Halo Halo Recipes

Sure you can put everything but the kitchen sink in a traditional Halo Halo, but have you tried something more simple? These 7 Halo Halo Recipes streamline the ingredients so that you can really taste the flavors.

    Favorite Shave Ice Machine

Before we get into the Halo Halo recipes, I have to share the ice machine that I use at home to shave the ice.

I've have been using this to make Halo Halo for more than 10 years. It comes with ice molds, but you can also used cubed ice as well.

This machine is very durable and highly recommended.

Now let's get to the recipes that would be so perfect for these hot hot summer days.

    1. Mango Float Halo Halo

A play on the very American Filipino dessert Mango Float or Mango Royale or Mango Graham Float. Fresh mangoes are mixed with ice drenched in graham cracker milk. Add some vanilla ice cream on top and it's a Mango Float, but better.

    2. Buko Pandan Halo Halo

Instead of cubes of Pandan jelly, it is set on the bottom of the glass and topped with macapuno strings, ice, coconut milk and coconut ice cream. Serve with some pandan flavored cookies for extra pandan flavor.
